Lenscrafters
Lenscrafters and John Gray Awards have an important, longstanding relationship. Where nobody else could, John Gray provided Lenscrafters with a solution to a unique administrative need. To both provide, distribute, and record the distribution of 100 unique lapel pins to thousands of employees, in hundreds of stores.
Lenscrafters awards a unique lapel pin each time a company representative receives a complimentary letter from a customer. The gems in the lapel pin signify a escalating level of achievement, all the way up to 9 diamonds, signifying 99 letters of commendation.
With over 1000 stores and 10000 employees, this ongoing project represents a huge administrative task. Before John Gray, Lenscrafters also had to anticipate thier own inventory of lapel pins and order them up to four weeks in advance, sometimes stocking and paying for pins that were never used.
Now, John Gray eagerly handles the task of recieving the letters, recording, packing, and shipping up to 1000 pins to stores every week, on-demand. John Gray also handles all of the inventory, so that they only make what is needed, and Lenscrafters is only charged for what is used.
